MAN FOUND DEAD.
REVOLVER NEAR THE BODY. By Telegraph.—Tress Association. Dunedin, Last Night-. The police received word to-night of the death of John Wylie Smellie, of Mosgiel; Deceased, who was a clerk in the woollen mills, left home in a motor-car yesterday morning, and as he had not returned at night his parents communicate! with the police. On making a search, the police found the car at Whare Fiat, four miles distant, and on the road side in. scrub a few yards away the of the missing man was discovered wi/ ha revolver beside it.
