HI-GE AMERICAN DEAL. T’ancouvcr, Jan. 29. The International Harvester Company, of Chicago, announces that it has acquired huge timber rights in British Columbia, including pulp wood power rights and pulp mills. The price paid was XI ,260,01)0. The company will incorporate as a Canadian firm to administer I lie holdings’. The export of paper pulp to Australia is among the aims of the company.
