Squadron-Leader Coningham and Flight-Lieutenant Baggs, who left Helsuan, Egypt, on October 27 on a flight to Nigeria and back, have arrived at Kano, Nigeria. PERSONAL The Professorial 'Board of the Otago University has recommended Mr. H. D. Skinner, D.C.M., B.A. (N.Z.), Dip. Anthr. (Cantab.), for the Percy Smith Prize in anthropology. A London cablegram says that Lieu-tenant-Colonel Walter Guinness has suceeeded the Hon. Edward Wood as Minister for Agriculture. Mr. Wood has been appointed Viceroy of India in succession to Lord Reading.
