HUNT IN PARIS PARK. LARGE CROWDS INTERESTED “CHANGING ITS SPOTS.” By Telegraph—Pres. Assn —CopyricttU Received Aug. 18, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Aug. 18. A leopard escaped from the Zoological Gardens and took refuge in the Bois de Boulogne, which covers two thousand acres. A great hunt took place by police with bloodhounds before the eye. of thousands of spectators. The leopard is still at liberty to-day. The police have taken over operation, owing to the danger of amateur hunters shooting each other. Live sheep are toeing used as bait. The bleating is expected to attract the leopard, which wits say cannot be captured because it bo frequently changes its spots.
