ACCIDENT AT ROTORUA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. Last night there was a narrow escape from a serious accident. Two heavy Cars, one a twelve-cylinder ear owned by Kusabs and driven by a man named Hira, met a seven-seater car owned by a man named Lowrie and driven by a man named Woods in Tutanekai Street, Both cars were badly smashed. Woods was badly bruised and cut, but the other occupants escaped injury.
