QWING to the half holiday, being on a Saturday the committee of the above club have decided to play the next shield match in Waitara on the 30th inst. The next shield match, providing it is held, will be played in New Plymouth about the middle of August. The committee wish to apologise to those of the general public of New Plymouth who gave donations towards our club for any inconvenience that may be felt through not having the next match in New Plymouth. As the Saturday competitions will then be over the New Plymouth public will have the full opportunity for witnessing the third shield match. It is also certain that the Maori North v.
