MAN'S TERRIBLE DEATH. TRAIN COLLIDES WITH JIGGER. TRAFFIC INSPECTOR KILLED. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Tc Kuiti, Last Night. Mr. J. Bremner, traffic inspector at Ohakune, was killed by a special goods train from Hamilton, IJ miles south of Otorohanga about 4.30 this afternoon. Mr. Bremner was proceeding on a jigger towards Otorohanga and he met the train in a cutting round a corner. The driver (Mr. Malone) applied the emergency brakes and stopped promptly, but It was too late to avoid a collision. Mr. Bremner sustained fearful injuries and death was instantaneous. He was a married man with three children, the youngest being six weeks old.
