Mr. Roberts (Victoria) told the PanPacific Conference that there was a general feeling of uneasiness in Australia regarding Japan. Professor Condliffe (New Zealand) ' discussed New Zealand’s immigration problems.’ Dr. Sawatnagl (Japan) declared that Japan depended upon Continental Asia fcr moat of her economic and commercial relations. He urged the removal of harmful restrictions on trade transportation simultaneously with a strict prohibition of the opium and drug traffic.
