Received July 2, 7.35 p.m. Capetown, July I, An outstanding'feature of-the PririW' of Wales’ visit to Bultrwayo was hi* pilgrimage to Cecil Rhodes' grave on th* Matoppo Hills. The Prince outpaced the rest of th* party and had the first view of th<( glorious panorama. With Admiral Sig Lionel Halsey the Prince stood reverently before the simple slab bare-headed. ll* remarked to himself that he would lik* to rest in such a spot facing such a view. The Prince also visited the neigh» bouring tomb of Sir Starr Jamieson, erected on the spot where the remain* of Alan Wilson and his party are buried.
