'■ < The report of the British Empire Producers’ Organisation read at the annual meeting points out that the organisation continued to press for the restriction of all Government meat contracts to Empire suppliers, and strongly opposed what was described as the dangerous suggestions of the Food Commission that the Imperial authorities might in future take an interest in the meat industry in the Argentine.
