WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Frees Association. Wellington,' Last Night. The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day; "Present Indications are for variable winds, with moderate to strong south-easterlies to north-easterlies prevailing and increasing. Weather unsettled; cloudy and misty, with heavy rain probable in many parts of the country. The barometer is unsteady.”
