BILL MOOSE AT THE SHOW.

Having the honour of being the largest bullock in the world, weighing one ton thirteen cwt. and nine pounds, “Bill Moose,’’ as he is called, has been visited by over a thousand visitors during the Hawera show. He is of a quiet nature, is, in fact, as quiet as a lamb. Standing over six feet in height and measuring over three feet across the back “Bill" presents a spectacle well worth going a long way to see. Mr. Kidmon, the Australian cattle king, expressed his opinion that “Bill” was the greatest wonder in the cattle world ever seen. He is to go to the Dunedin exhibition, and farmers of this district may not have another opportunity of seeing him. Sir Harry Lauder, in company with the Minister for Agriculture, saw “Bill" at Palmerston, and Sir Harry said he had never seen any to compare with him during all his travels in America, at Home, or in any of the colonies.
