They are showing well in calf, are in tip-top condition, and are all dehorned. Individual calving dates will be given at sale. As Mr. Duggan has been dairying one season all the implements, milking machine, etc., are practically new. As he is giving up dairying everything is for absolute sale to the highest bidder, and buyers in search of good young cows should attend this sale, as the average test for the season was 4.2. Stock will be delivered free of charge to either Eltham, Hawera or Opunake.

This old established herd is well-known as one of the best in the district, and for production is right at the forefront; for the past season the herd averaged 3301bs fat per cow factory returns, and in addition 15 calves per season have been reared. Returns can be inspected at the Joll factory. Calving dates and return of individual cows will be given at sale, and it is worthy of note that 20 of the cows have records of 3501bs and over.
