PROGRESS DUE TO-DAY. The Progress is expected here to-day from Wellington direct, with, a quantity of general cargo. After discharge she sails for Wellington and Dunedin to load for New Plymouth via the usual way ports. JOHN ABOUT THURSDAY. Messrs. Holm and Co. advise that tho John is due here about Thursday from Wellington, probably via Wanganui. From New Plymouth she will probably proceed to Lyttelton to load for New Plymouth. WAIHEMO ON SUNDAY. The Waihemo, bringing American cargo, is now scheduled to sail from Dunedin on Friday for New Plymouth, and should arrive hero about Sunday to discharge. RUAPEHU TO LOAD. The Ruapehu is due at New Plymouth about the middle of July to load for Home. TUGELA FROM ANTWERP. A vessel direct from Antwerp to New Plymouth is expected here shortly in the steamer Tugela, which left Antwerp on May 29 with cargo from Baltic ports for discharge at New Plymouth, Wellington, Lyttelton, Napier and Auckland. She should reach New Plymouth early in July. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. Bringing passengers and general cargo, the Rarawa is due from Onehunga early this morning. She sails north at 8 o’clock this evening, and is due back on Friday morning. NO SIGN OF HOLJBVOOD. The schooner Holmwood, which generally takes about a fortnight on the run from Australia to New Plymouth, is now 25 days out from Newcastle, and there is still no sign of • her She was reported as having been sighted i off Kawhia on the afternoon of May 5, exactly a fortnight after her departure from Newcastle, : but the winds have been adverse ever since that date, and she has probably been blown : a considerable distance out to sea.
