TARANAKI OILFIELDS.
MUTOROA REPAIRS COMPLETED. READY FOR DRILLING AGAIN. A report on the progress of oil-boring operations was issued by Taranaki Oil Fields Ltd. last night. At Tarata a depth of 1855 feet has been reached in shale; gas is still making. At Moturoa repairs have been completed. The casing is undamaged. Drilling will be resumed either to-day or to-morrow.
