The second innings score was 61. Louden took four for 26 and Hipkin four for 18. Essex in the first innings made 65. Tanner took five for 13. In the second innings they made 93 for the loss of three wickets. Cambridge in the first innings made 206 (Enthoven 78).R. Tyldesley took seven wickets for 62 runs. The second innings produced 172. R. TySdesley took four for 33 and Parkin four for 77. Lancashire’s first innings produced 281 (Shelmerdine 91). Meyer took five wickets for 89. The second innings produced 71 runs for seven wickets. The match, which was twelve aside was drawn. For Leicester against Glamorgan Astiß in the first innings took six wiciketa for 23 runs. Geary in th© second innings took seven for 24. For Worcester against Warwick Tar-, box made 103 not out. Root took five for 78. / For Yorkshire against Gloucester in the first innings Kilner took four for 24, and in the second innings Kilner took four wickets for 10 runs, and Macau ley six for 20.
