WEDDING.

. RUSTON—LEECH. On a recent evening, the wedding was solemnised at St. Pauly Pro-Cathedral, Wellington, of Miss Eileen Dorothy Leech, second daughter of Major and Mrs. Arthur Leech, of Inglewood, Taranaki, to Mr. P. Ruston, of Wellington. The Ven. Archdeacon Johnson officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming gown of white satin, hand-embroidered with pearls. A handsome coronet, also of pearls, was worn, the veil being caught up on either side with orange blossoms, falling in folds to form the train. She carried a beautiful bridal bouquet of pink and white roses, surrounded by maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Gwendoline Leech and Miss Olga Lazard, who wore tunic frocks of blue and silver tissue, with silver tissue bandeaux. They carried bouquets to match. The best man was Dr. E. Marsden, of Wellington, and the groomsman Mr. Len Climie, of Lower Hutt. The bride’s mother was in a frock of grey velvet, with an overdress of ninon, ’ her hat being adorned with oriental trimmings. She carried a bouquet of lavender asters. Mrs. L. Climie (Lower Hutt) wore maroon marocain, with a hat Fo match. Mrs. E. Marsden (Wellington) was in apricot georgette, with hat to match. Mrs. J. W. Russell (Wellington), navy blue frock, with navy hat; and Miss Marjory Ellis (Lower Hutt), pink with spangled overdress and hat to tone. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Ye Olde English Tea Rooms. Many telegrams were received from friends in all parts of the country. Later the bride and bridegroom left for a trip, the .bride’s travelling costume being of grey gabardine, with a peacock blue hat.
