Notts, in their first innings, made 187 and in the second strike have lost one wicket for 36. Hampshire’s first innings produced 225 (Brown 97). Barratt took four wickets for 51 runs. The match was abandoned. Cambridge, in their first innings, made 98 (Cox six wickets for 39), and in the second innings 197 (L. Crawley 92 and Tate four wickets for 55). Sussex made 80 (Enthoven three wickets for 7) and the second innings produced 175 (Jagger five wickets for 30). Oxford, in their first innings, made 126 (Parkin six wickets for 31), and in the second innings 156 (Guise 63 and Parkin six wickets for 67 and McDonald two for 29). Lancashire’s first innings produced 159. The game was abandoned.
