THE KURDISH REVOLT.
TH® TROUBLE QUELLED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright London, April 13. The Constantinople correspondent of The Times says that, having virtually quelled the Kurish revolt the Government is taking measures to prevent its repetition. It is stated that the Government intends to abolish the powers of the sheiks and the tribal system, dividing the country into a number of districts in which order will be maintained by permanent bodies oi troops and police, and compelling the nomad tribes to remain in definite localities.
