The Kairanga, with timber and coal from Newcastle, arrived in the roadstead at about 4.30 p.m. yesterday. She will berth early this morning. H. K. HALL ARRIVES. The H. K. Hall, from Port Stephens (New South Wales) arrived in the roadstead about

430 p.m. yesterday, and was berthed at 6 p.m. The H. K. Hall, which is a five- masted schooner, left Port Stephens on December 0 I with 49 piles for the New Plymouth Harbour Board. She 'has other hardwood timber on board, which makes her total cargo about 250 HOLMWOOD SIGHTED. After a remarkably fast trip, tlie schooner Holmwood, which left Newcastle with a cargo of coal on December 11, arrived off New Plymouth yesterday afternoon. Sight of her was later lost, but she is expected to berth today. THE OPIHI TO-DAY. The Opihi was expected to leave Nelson yesterday for New Plymouth and should arrive some time to-day. OPUA WITH CEMENT. The Opua, with 200 tons of cement from Tarakohe, is expected here this morning. Every effort will be made to discharge her cargo in time to dispatch her for Lyttelton this afternoon. JOHN DUE TO-MORROW. The John, with cargo from southern ports, is due here to-morrow. After discharging her cargo she will return south. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning with passengers and 70 tons of general cargo from Onehunga. The vessel sailed north again last evening, and will return o i Wednesday. RIMUTAKA TO-DAY. The Rimutaka, which was scheduled to leave Wellington last night, is expected to arrive here to-day.
