The Rimutaka sailed from Port Chalmers at 9.25 a.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and should arrive here to-morrow morning. She will probably berth at the Moturoa wharf in the position at present occupied by the Kumara, and on Monday will commence discharge of ’her English cargo and will load for Home. She will remain in port until after Christmas.

The Rimutaka loaded at Newport (Monmouthshire), Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool. She was dispatched from the last-mentioned port on October 11. Colon was reached on October 30, and the Canal was cleared t’e following day. Fair weather was experienced on. the voyage, w;hich was uneventful. Captain F. A. Henning is in command of the vessel. He has with him the following officers: Chief, Mr. E. A. Burton; second, Mr. O. M. Watts; third, Mr. H. Horwood ; fourth, Mr. R. S. Cox; wireless operators. Messrs S. Brown, C. G. Spence, J. R. The Corinna arrived from Onehunga last night, and to-day will be engaged In loading 7000 boxes of butter and 3000 crates of cheese for the Athenic at Wellington. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. With passengers and general cargo, the Ra. rawa arrived from Onehunga early yesterday morning. She sailed for the northern port at 7.40 in the evening, and is due back on Monday morning. WAIKAWA SAILS. The - Waikawa completed discharge of her American cargo yesterday afternoon, and sailed early in the evening for Newcastle direct. - PHYSA TO DISCHARGE. The Physa was expected to berth at the Newton King wharf last night, after the departure of the Waikawa for Australia. She will commence discharge of her 7000 cases of case oil this morning. WINGATUI LEAVES DUNEDIN. The Wlngatui left Dunedin on Thursday night for the north, but it is uncertain whether she will come to New Plymouth, as her New Plymouth cargo may be transhipped to another Union Company vessel. t KAIRANGA’S CARGO. The Union Company have received advice that in addition to 1500 tons of coal, the Kairanga is bringing 590 tons of timber from Australia for discharge at this port. PINNA DUE AT AUCKLAND. ■The Pinna, from Singapore, with case oil for discharge at various New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth, is expected to arrive at Auckland this morning. MOVEMENTS OF RUAPEHU. Tlie Federal S.N. Company advise that the Ruapehu now discharging Liverpool cargo at Gisborne, will leave the latter port this afternoon for Wellington, where she is due on Monday next. On completion of discharge at Dunedin, the vessel will commence loading at that port for Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. She will take in cargo at Timaru, Wanganui roadstead. New Plymouth, Lyttelton and Wellington, and is to sail finally from here on January 31 for the West of England ports.
