PUBLIC NOTICES. TARANAKI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NOTICE of Intention to take Lands situated in Block VI., Huiroa Survey District, fot the Purpose of the “Electric Works” of the Board, IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Taranaki Electric Power Board proposes under the provisions of “The Public Works Act; 1908,” and ite amendments and ‘‘The Electric Power Boards Act, 1918,” and its amendments, to execute certain public works, namely, the construction of “Electric Works” as defined by the said “The Electric Power Board’s Act, 1918,” and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedule below are required to be taken particularly for the purpose of constructing and qreating a storage reservoir or lake thereon in connection with such electric works. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that plans of the lands so required to be taken ar© deposited in the Post Office, situate in tfie Railway Station Buildings, at Tariki, and are there open for inspection without fee by all persons durng ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands should, if they have any wellgrounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such lands set forth th© same in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to The Clerk of The Taranaki Electric Power Board, at its Offices, situate in Bridge Street, Eltham, Taranaki.
