PERSONAL.
Messrs. Newton King and J. H. Quilliam, who have been to Wellington on business connected with the Harbour Board, returned by the mail train last, night. Mr. W. J. Williams, sub-editor of the Hawera Star, left by the mail train yes- '• terday morning for Te Aroha, where he has accepted an appointment as managing editor of the Te Aroha News. Prior to his departure he was the recipient of presentations from the staff and proprietary.
