THE AVONDALE EXPLOSION
DUE TO ESCAPE OF GAS. LIKELY EXPLANATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Sept. 29. Investigations by detectives, it is stated, tend to the conclusion that the explosion in the Avondale totalisator was due to the escape of gas.
