A splendid tempered colt, he promises to develop into a worthy successor of his truly great Hire, "Dunure Fabric.” This noted sire was looked upon as one of the greatest Clydesdales ever imported Into the Dominion, and was one of the highest-priced horses exported from Scotland to New Zealand. At the break-up of the late Mr. J. Shearer's Stud, this horse was retained by the estate for the high figure of 1090 guineas. From a breeder's standpoint, there is nothing better bred in New Zealand than thia colt, and when combined with size, quality and grand action, this colt is bound to fill a long-felt want in Northern Taranaki.
