KILLED DIVING OFF BRIDGE. WOULD-BE PICTURE .ACTOR. New York. Aug. 31. A man was killed by jumping from the dizzy heights of the Williamsiburg Bridge, across East River, in an effort to break into moving picture work as a dare-devil. Although his service's had been refused by the cinematograph ' companies, he announced that he would I make the attempt. Several photographers took pictures from tugs as he jumped, while policemen vainly at- I tempted to restrain him. He turned ' over six times and landed on his back in the water. His body has not been recovered.
