MOTOR FATALITY.
A CHARGE OF MURDER. By Telegraph —Press Assn.—•Copyright* Received Sept. 15, 8.10 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 16. Lindley, the motorist arrested in connection with Sunday’s motor fatality* was remanded on a charge of murdering Walker and t-wo charges of causing grievous bodily harm to the two other men injured. Counsel for Lindley protested against the newspaper statement that he did not stop when the miahap occurred. He declared he did atop and took one of the injured men to the hospital. The police evidence was that after the accident he drove on but came back. . Lindley was married a few hours before the occurrence. Sydney, Sept. 115. In connection with the Annandale accident it is asserted that <me of th© passengers was thrown out by the force of the impact.. It is *believed that the driver picked up this mfln and drove away. Lindley later called at the Petersham police station and reported that a passenger in the car he was driving had met with an accident. He said he had taken him to Lewisham hospital. The car was later examined and found to be damaged about the front. Lindley was questioned by the police and then arrested.
