TWO MEN KILLED. THE ROPE SEVERED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 15, 8.10 p.m. Brussels, Sept. 14. A motor car was conveying an inflated. balloon to its starting place when telegraph wires severed the rope and the balloon rose, with Dumortier, the famous aeronaut, and an assistant clinging to the rope. Dumortier soon released the rope and fell, and he died from injuries. The assistant was carried a thousand feet and then fell and was killed.
