The following Government weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for moderate to strong northerly to westerly winds, freshening soon southward of New Plymouth and Napier. Weather changeable and showery in all western districts, and fair to warm on the east coast, with increasing cloudiness. The barometer is falling everywhere.”
