COALITION GOVERNMENT.
VIEW OF THE HON. J. G. COATES. “LOYAL TO MY LEADER.” By Telegraph—-Press Association, Wellington, Sept. 13. “I feel it is really a waste of time to take notice of anonymous typewritten circulars,” was the reply given by the Hon. J. G. Coates when asked if he had any comment to make on the suggestion in communication to members of Parliament, headed New Zealand League, that there should be a coalition government under his leadership. “However, as the suggestion has been so often repeated,” added Mr. Coates, “though always anonymoua’y and I am told it has attracted a certain amount of attention, my reply if this: To bring in my name is an insult to my integrity and it should at least be accepted that I am loyal to my leader, Mr. Massey.”
