TARANAKI v. WAIRARAPA. f KEEN CONTEST EXPECTED TO-DAY. The Wairarapa and Taranaki Rugby fifteens meet at Victoria Park, Stratford, this afternoon, the kick-off being timed for two o’clooS. Great interest has been aroused by the roateft, the general opinion seeming to be that the contest will prove very close, with little to indicate which team will ultimately triumph. The Watrarapu players were shown rotffta the district yesterday, the motoring tour Including New Plymouth. The visitors also had a practlc.e during the day. THE TARANAKI TEAM. The following team has been chosen to represent Taranaki against Walrarnpa at Stratford to-day:— Full-bnck—Pennlall (Eltham). Three-quarters—N. Ross (Inglewood), J. Ross (Inglewood), Loveridge.
