COMPOSITE MINISTRY MOVE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 3, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, July 3 The political situation remains unsettled. It is understood negotiations are in progress between the Liberals and the Farmers’ Union Party for the formation of a composite Ministry. One statement is that the terms upon which the Farmers’ Party and the Independent Liberals insist are so strong as to be difficult for the section attached to Sir Alexander Peacock to accept, involving as they allegedly do a clean sweep of the present Ministry except Sir A. Peacock, and Messrs Gordon and McGregor. The Ministry’s attitude at the meeting of Parliament on Tuesday depends upon the of these negotiations.
