The All Blacks were given a civic reception by the Lord Mayor at the Town Hall. The reception was largely attended. TWO MATCHES BEFORE SAILING. NO REINSTATED PLAYERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night received a request from the Auckland, Northland and Manawatu Unions to oall a special meeting on August 6 to consider rescinding a motion that no reinstalled player be included In the New Zealand team. It was pointed i nut that the constitution compelled the calling ! of such a meeting, but that three wee<s' notice was required. The All Biecks sail n July 29. Thus the alteration could not be made. It was decided to play a match, All Blacks v. Manawatu-Horowhenua at Palmerston North instead of against Wellington on Saturday, July 26. Thv All Blacks also play at Auckland on July 23.
