HUNTING.

NORTH TARANAKI CLUB. Owing to a serious illness in Mr. Geo. Foreman’s family the hunt carded for his place to-day has been postponed and a hunt arranged at the Kennels, Sentry Hill. The thanks of the hunt are due to Mr. and Mrs. Sampson, Mr. French and their neighbours for coming t i the rescue and allowing their country to be hunted over for the second time this season. The huntsman (Mr. Pepperell) reports that hares are plentiful and some good runs should be had during the afternoon. Mrs. Pepperell has kindly qffered to provide afternoon tea at the conclusion of the hunt, thereby adding to the pleasure of the afternoon's sport.
