THE CENTRAL DIVISION. DRAW AND APPOINTMENTS. The following matches will be played in the second round of the junior competition in the Central division, the referees’ appointments for this week being made last night: Second Grade. June s.—Toko v. Celtic, at Toko, Mr. G. Were; Tariki v. Midhirst, at Tariki, Mr. D. Blanchard; Cardiff v. Stratford, at Stratford, Mr. C. Jackson. June ,12—Toko v. Tariki, at Toko; Celtic v. Cardiff, at Stratford; Midhirst v. Stratford, at Midhirst. June 19.—Toko v. Midhirst, at Midhirst; Celtic v. Stratford, at Stratford; Tariki v. Cardiff, at Tariki. June 26.—T0k0 v. The management committee contemplate playing a third round, in order to obviate players standing on the bank’ while other divisions are engaged in play. Third Grade. June S.—S.T.H.C. v. SOUTHERN WEDNESDAY GAME. The South Taranaki Wednesday Football Club, which has been late in opening the season, but which now shows promise of providing interesting competition, held a meeting on Friday night, when officers were elected, and a balance-sheet showing a credit of £6 17s 4d was presented. It was reported that seven teams had entered the competitions. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. R. D. Wilson; president, Mr. A. R. Grant; vice-presidents, Mrs. Gibson, Messrs. J. N. Anderson, D. Strachan, T. S. Jones, A Alger, B. C. Bennett, C. Gomer, J. Goodwin and J. Henry; hon. surgeon, Dr. A. M. Young; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. D. Jury; committee, Messrs. L. Master, R. Allan, C. Duggan, J. Dalgleish, P. Townsend, R. Foster and N. Coburn; club captain, Mr. C. Duggan. Votes of thanks were accorded the chairman and the press. The following players will represent TOKO TEAMS. Toko versus Celtic at Toko today: M. Waterson, G. Mather, A. Cameron, J. Jones, J. Fincham, W. Johnston, L. Caskey, S. Laurence, 11. iWere, J.
