SOUTHERN WEDNESDAY GAME. The South Taranaki Wednesday Football Club, which has been late in opening the season, but which now shows promise of providing interesting competition, held a meeting on Friday night, when officers were elected, and a balance-sheet showing a credit of £6 17s 4d was presented. It was reported that seven teams had entered the competitions. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. R. D. Wilson; president, Mr. A. R. Grant; vice-presidents, Mrs. Gibson, Messrs. J. N.
