ALLEGED PARALYSIS CURE.

MALARIA FOR FORTNIGHT. London, May 20. Professor Yorke and Dr. Mac Fie, after two years’ tests at the Liverpool school of tropical medicine, claim io be able to cure general paralysis by giving the patient malaria, either by innoculation with the blood of a person who has suffered with malaria, or by allowing malaria mosquitoes to feed upon the paralytic. The patient is allowed to have malaria for a fortnight, and it is claimed he can then be cured of both troubles by three days’ treatment with quinine. Out of 84 mental .patients treated it is stated that 23 have been discharged, and that 17 arei-greatly improved.
