AMAZING MURDER.

STUDENTS ON TRIAL. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rome, May 27. A remarkable murder case has commenced at Turin. Two young brothers named Cogo, who have been awaiting trial for many months, are indicted for murdering their aunt, Carolina Cogo, and a housemaid, Rita Bordon. It is alleged that accused were students who were short of money and believed they would benefit under the will of their wealthy aunt. They broke into the house and strangled her and Bordon, propped the corpses in chairs and bedecked them with the aunt’s jewels. A servant girl made the tragic discovery and informed the police and the arrests followed. The brothers made several contradictory statements, one accusing the servant of being an accomplice. The servant, who had been the principal witness, was unable to give evidence, having lost her reason owing to her terrifying experiences.
