HINDUS NOT WHITE.
DECISION OF UNITED STATES. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 22, 7.45 p.m. New York, May 21. A protest against the Supreme Court decision that Hindus are not white people, and therefore are not eligible for United States citizenship, has been made by Dr. Sudhindra Bose, a native of India and a naturalised citizen of the United States. Dr. Bose, who is a. lecturer in the University of lowa, faces the annulment of his citizenship in the proceedings in the Federal Court.
