YOUNG EARL’S MARRIAGE.
FIRST LOVE FORGOTTEN. London, Doc. 15. The Earl of Kinnoul has married Mis.s Enid Margaret Hamiltdn-iFellows, to whom he became engaged in August, a month after their meeting at a seaside hotel. There were six bridesmaids and special music, composed by Sir Gilbert Wills, wa< played. The bride’s mother wrote the words of one of th? hymns. The Earl's mother. Lady Dupplin, was absent on a trip to the 'Continent. Some months ago the story was told of a romance of the Earl of Kinnoul. in which his name was coupled with that of a widow. Mrs. Surle. The latter gave notice at a London registry office ,of a marriage between herself and “George Hay”—the Earl’s family name. When the registrar asked for the bridegroom's birtli certificate, it was not forthcoming. The Earl of Kinnoul, who was 21 years of age last March, was sent to South Africa, and Mrs. Surle followed a few days later. On his return to England a few weeks before he met Miss Hamilton -Fellows, the Earl said that he had not seen Mrs. Surle, and did not care where she was.
