MADAME CURRIE HONOURED. FREE RADIUM FOR INDIGENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 27, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Dec. 26. The fifth anniversary of Madame Currie’s discovery of radium was celebrated to-day, eulogistic addresses being made by M. Millerand and various savants. The Currie foundation was also inaugurated for the purpose of advancing the use of radium, especially for the indigent sick, who will there receive a free application of two and a half grammes of radium, and various subsidies by French institutions have been donated for the foundation’s upkeep.
