FIVE LIVES LOST. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 26, 9.30 p.m. New York, Dec. 25. A Seattle radiogram received here states that a heavy wind and rainstorm is sweeping the waters of the north-west Pacific. During the night it claimed five lives from the Canadian tug Tyee, which sank in Pender Bay, Vancouver island. The crew numbered seven, of whom only the engineer and mate survived. Rescue ships are ceaselessly patrolling the waters to prevent further disaster.
