MYSTERY ACCIDENT.

MAN PICKED UP ON ROAD. HIS CONDITION SERIOUS. An element of mystery surrounds the admission to the New Plymouth hospital last night of a man suffering from concussion. The man’s name is believed to be Fitzsimmons, and it is stated that he was picked up on the Opunake Road on Christina! Eve. He was brought into the hospital the next night at about 8 o’clock, but th« police state that beyond that nothing is known. There is no record of exactly where the man was picked up, how h< came by his injuries or as to who was the Good Samaritan who brought him to th< hospital.
