GREEK KING LEAVES.
POPULAR DEMONSTRATION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Athens, Dec. 19. Prior to the Cabinet’s communication to the King, the Republicans organised an anti-dynas'tic meeting, tne demonstrators in'cluding soldiers and sailors. A speech by a former commodore in the navy was received with cries of “Down with the King.” The demonstrators marched in procession to the- Premier’s office, shouting similarly. They submitted a resolution in favouj' of dethronement. Thereupon the military and political leaders conferred and informed the demonstrators that the Cabinet would consider the resolution.
