THE VOTE REDUCED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Received Dec. 20, 8.15 p.m. Tokio, Dec. 19. Mr. Yamamoto has accepted the Majority Party’s demand for a twenty per cent, reduction in the reconstruction budget, thus averting the resignation of the Cabinet and the dissolution of Parliament, which appeared imminent yesterday as a result of prolonged and spirited debate, in which the Majority Party in addition demanded the abolition of the restoration board the interest of economy. Mr. Yamamoto eventually acceded to the demand.
