TUNNEL COLLAPSES.
THREE MEN BURIED. ONE RESCUED ALIVE. ACCIDENT NEAR NAPIER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. It was reported in Napier this evening that a tunnel on the East Coast railway, fifteen or twenty miles from town, collapsed late this afternoon, burying three men working there. The only information available when the telegraph office closed was to the effect that one man had been rescued, and that he was alive. The police and doctors from Napier are at the scene of the accident.
