FARMER DROWNED.

OCCIDENT ON MIMI BAR. OPEN BOAT CAPSIZES. Alfred Johnston, a fanner of Waitoitoi, near Urenui, was drowned about noon yesterday. Deceased and hii brother were out fishing in an open boat on the Mimi stream, and, when crossing the bar, the boat capsized, Alfred being drowned. The body was subsequently recovered.
