NEW PLYMOUTH TENNIS CLUB.

“THE DANSANT” AND CABARET. Organised by members of the New Plymouth Tennis Club for the purpose of raising funds to assist the club, a successful “Dansant” was held in the Workers’ Hull yesterday afternoon. There was a big attendance throughout the afternoon and good business was done. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the ladies, whilst during the aftjrnoon music for dancing was provided, by Miss George’s orchestra. The stallholders were: Produce, Mesdames Penn, Balharry, and Miss Winfield; flower. Mesdamos Brewster, Quilliam, Archer, Wade, and Miss Home; sweets, Misses Fookes, Barthorp, Carthew, Cliolmeley and Rodeel. In the evening a cabaret was held, Miss George’s orchestra providing the music.
