PEARSON MEMORIAL FUND.

NEARLY £35,000 IN HAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland, Sept. 5. The New Zealand committee of the Pearson Memorial Fund met this morning. Mr. Clutha Mackenzie (chairman) stated that the fund totalled £34,752 l€s 9d. It was resolved to hand over to the trustees of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind, for administration under the conditions of the fund, securities and cash in hand amounting to £23,644, this being in addition to the previous payment of £1691.
