PERGER, who is giving up dairying to sell by auction, as above, entirely without reserve, his select herd of Pedigree Jerseys, consisting of 29 cows ’ HEIFERS AND BULLS; also—--10 grade cows in tip-top condition, in calf to pedigree Jersey bull and early calvers 2 very good draught mares (all work) 1 hack and harness horse (good) 9 coulter McCormick drill, hayrake, Adriance mowing machine, d.f. plough, s.f. plough, disc, tyne tripod and chain harrows, Cambridge roller, spring dray and two sets harness, gig and harness, saddle and bridle, buggy with pole and shafts, vice, drilling machine stocks and dies, grindstone, scales, knife grinder, one bag truck, blow lamp, milk cans, harness, cattle dog and large assortment of useful farm tools; also quantity of household furniture. NOTE.—Although only a small herd it contains some very excellent cattle, the line of heifers which Mr. Pergtfr bought from Mr. H. Purdie last year having turned out especially well. Several are putting up creditable performances under S.O. test, and one will finish with about 5701 b fat as a junior 2-year-old. The young cattle also show distinct quality and the principal herd sire is a good son of “Hollybank Squire,” out of “Hollybank Rose,” Association record 3321 b fat in 170 days, a descendant of the “ORANGE ROSE” family, all of which are great producers. Prospective buyers are invited to inspect the cattle beforehand for this will at once lend convincing evidence of their great value.
