REBUILDING IRELAND.
LOCAL LOAN PROPOSED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, July 8. Mr. Cosgrave, speaking at Cork, said the Government would shortly ask the Irish people to lend the nation a sufficient sum to wipe out the dishonor of the last twelve or eighteen months. He warned the nation against wildcat schemes, and said it must be prepared for small beginnings. It was essential that after the elections rhe Government should be strong enough to enable them to advance money.
